Insights from proposals

Explore proposals submitted to Beehive over five years

The analysis below explores the proposals submitted to Beehive between 2016 and 2020. Results have been anonymised to avoid identifying specific organisations or projects.

Where possible the results have been compared to data from 360Giving publishers on grants made, or to figures from the NCVO UK Civil Society Almanac 2020 looking at the whole charity sector.

About the proposals

How much funding were the proposals for?

Users were asked the minimum and maximum funding they were looking for. These results are based on the minimum funding asked for. The results are compared to grants made by 360Giving publishers over the same time period.

The average amount of funding asked for was £#{ currentStats.amount_stats['50%'] | formatNumber }#. This is less than the average grant made by 360Giving publishers. This is more than the average grant made by 360Giving publishers. This is around the same as the average grant made by 360Giving publishers.

What themes does the proposal cover?

These themes are chosen by the users from a list provided when they recorded their proposal.
